Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
